Funding success for TRANSFORMER show project in partnership with Vivacity Arts…

Following a successful Arts Council bid, Stream-Lyric are developing innovative show, ‘TRANSFORMER’ , in partnership with Vivacity Arts. In doing so, we will be among the first companies to receive support under The Key Theatre’s new development agenda.

TRANSFORMER celebrates female transformation on film, through a sensuous combination of live drama and dance. Stream-Lyric joins forces with TrashDollys Dance Theatre to present Norma and Eddie, actors trapped in an unusual mother-daughter relationship that spans decades, memories and iconic moments.

Written/Directed by Tamsin Flower, Choreographed by Sam Amos with AV by award winning filmmaker, Marc Price, TRANSFORMER will offer an electric hour of sensory language, visceral movement and big box-office stories! Keep your eyes bouncing off the website for news of preview dates in July and September 2016!

The show is designed to reach festival audiences of theatre, dance and film enthusiasts as well as new attendees of all ages. Many of you will have already engaged in the development process by attending screenings/ audience Q&As of some of the 10 films used as stimuli at METAL in partnership with FRAME Film Club. We look forward to welcoming you, the general public, to our open rehearsal on the 22nd of April at the Key Theatre at 4pm!
