Stream Lyric plays with form and lyricism to make performances that address social themes.
Partnering across sectors, we develop high quality collaborations between writers and artists of other disciplines, for live and digital platforms.
I am an emerging Writer/Director/Producer working with the tradition of poetry applied in drama and the opportunities presented by new media. I am interested in exploring how poetics can be physically and visually supported in bringing contemporary social themes to life.
Most recently, I completed the MA in Creative Writing programme at UEA and previously trained in Acting at Mountview and Oxford School of Drama. I also spent brief time at Central School of Ballet London before developing abrupt scoliosis of the spine.
Arts Council England have supported my work as a Writer/Director since 2014 and I have enjoyed development from: Escalator Live Art, Menagerie Theatre, Arvon 42, Writers’ Centre Norwich/National Centre for Writing, Norwich Arts Centre, Metal Culture, Vivacity, Cambridge Junction and the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme. In parallel lives, I’m an arts PR and manager. Sometimes I wrestle with scoliosis and Dyspraxia but mostly we do yoga together and dance.
